This activity aims to self-investigate if the set standards of ISTE for students are being met whenever technology is integrated in instruction.

I exhibit awareness and knowledge in the effective selection and usage of technology which allow me to learn, improve and innovate.

            1. Which among the standards do you practice at least? Why?

  • Among the standards, the least thing I practice is the ‘digital citizenship’. It is because I’m searching on the internet and getting their ideas about the topic or issue without further concerned on the cite that I copied by accrediting the source of your copied information from the net without violating the law of plagiarism.

            2. What intended actions will you do to meet the said standard/s?

  • The actions that I will do Ito meet the standard which is “digital citizenship by just following the proper citing of the source and use the internet ethically according to the rule or laws about the use of internet. And also be aware on the data that we are getting from the internet because it affects our presentation or project that we are doing.

            This activity will allow the students to analyse the importance and relevance of technology in education.
            This activity will be done with a partner. Illustrate through a diagram your own understanding of the different phases of Technology Integration Planning Model. Explain why you have designed your diagram that way.

  •  Beginning Stage: It emphasize the basic or the simplest process on how to conduct activities regardless on the divergence of the students.

  • Developing Stage: It pertains on stage that you are capable enough to perform task using technology without the help of others works.
  • Proficient Stage: In this stage you are gained about the use of technology and improving to integrate different styles of presentation that manifest the learners attention.
  • Transformation Stage: This stage is how the technology makes you transform or change the way you teach the students .You are completely enhance teacher with the use of technology on becoming a professional in teaching.

This ladder diagram represents the development of the phases of Technology Integration Planning Model showing the development or process in every phase structure. Ladder  indicates the improvement of the technology on how it is being used in teaching career that manifest the skill of using technology in an effective way.

My Stairways to Successful Technology Integration
            This activity aims to allow the students to plan on how technology will be integrated in teaching and learning.
            This activity will be done by pair. As future teachers, think of a topic related to your specialization that you wish to deliver in a class. Using the stairways below, design a plan on how technologies will be integrated for a successful teaching and learning experience. Write your answer in the boxes below.

  • How will I use the selected technologies in class instruction? 

I will use the selected technologies in class instruction by presenting it in the class through this material I will integrate different activities or task that is intended for my lesson which is literature. I will indicate also games and question and answer to be more comprehensive in studying literature.

  • How will my selected technologies support? student's learning?

This selected technologies support in my lesson in a way that my learners will come up with the lesson. The role of the technology is that the learners pay attention mostly to the class discussion. It also supported the task designed intended for the lesson like in games and others enhancing activities. 

  • How will my selected technologies support students’ learning?

The selected technology support students learning through discussion and giving concrete examples of the topic to be understand by the students to meet the objectives of the lesson need to acquire.
